Shelter-In-Place Order Ends With Arrest In South Central PA County: Police

A shelter-in-place order in Carroll Township, York County has been lifted after an arrest was made, police said on Sunday, Nov. 10.

The order had been issued earlier in the day as police searched for a potentially armed individual in the area of Range End Road, Range End Manor, and Fairway Hill. Residents were asked to remain indoors and report any suspicious activity to 911, police reported.

The shelter-in-place was cleared after the suspect was taken into custody. Police assured the public that there was no longer any threat to public safety.

Details about the suspect’s identity or the circumstances surrounding the arrest were not immediately released.
